We build places with a story, identity, and soul

At REDOX, we believe that a playground is far more than a collection of equipment. It is a world in miniature: a place where children discover who they are, where communities find a shared sense of belonging, and where design meets the living spirit of a place.

Everything we create is guided by seven principles that together form our design philosophy.

THE VALUE OF PLAY

Play as the foundation of growth

Children explore and understand the world through play. Yet too many playgrounds focus solely on physical activity, overlooking the full richness of child development.

A truly well-designed playground invites all types of play: physical, imaginative, social, and sensory, giving children the freedom to use their whole bodies, develop their imagination, and connect meaningfully with their surroundings.

We design spaces that do not prescribe how a child should play. Instead, they open doors to possibility, offering diverse ways to explore, learn, and grow through the joy of discovery.

SENSE OF PLACE

Every playground has a story to tell

A playground without a connection to its location can feel generic and soulless. It could be anywhere in the world. A strong sense of place, on the other hand, reflects the culture, identity, and spirit of the community in which it stands. It is what transforms a play area into a landmark.

Belonging to a space matters not only for children but for the entire community. Playgrounds rooted in local culture and environment foster pride, unity, and a deeper connection to the world around us. In our work, we carefully select materials, shapes, and details that create an authentic experience, making each space genuinely special and unique.

Our task is to make the playground a special place, a unique symbol of the community.

CHILDREN'S CREATIVITY

Spaces that spark imagination

We design with the understanding that every child is an inventor. Our playgrounds are built around equipment with multiple elements and diverse possibilities for use, deliberately leaving space for children to discover their own, unique ways of playing. We do not design for a single correct experience. We design for a thousand unexpected ones.

Creativity flourishes when children are trusted with open-ended challenges. Our spaces are invitations, not instructions.

SECRETS & SURPRISES

The magic of small discoveries

The most memorable childhood moments are often hidden in the smallest details. When designing a playground, we always leave room for surprises: hidden motifs, small openings through which colours or images peek through, spaces for hiding, little doors leading to the unknown, or sounds revealed only through careful listening.

These elements stimulate curiosity, imagination, and a spirit of exploration, making every visit a new experience. A playground that hides small secrets is not just a play area: it becomes an adventure, a challenge, and a place where every game brings something new.

The most beautiful childhood memories are hidden in the small moments of discovery.

DESIGN FOR ALL

Every child, every ability

Every child is unique: they differ in age, strength, and physical and mental abilities. That is why we design playgrounds that offer challenges suited to different capabilities, while maintaining the dynamism and excitement that make play truly engaging.

Uniformity creates monotony. Variety creates opportunity. Bridges of varying difficulty, diverse climbing structures, and adaptable pathways encourage children to test their own limits, develop skills, and experience the satisfaction of achievement, regardless of where they begin.

ACTIVITY ZONES

A place for every kind of energy

A great playground is not a single experience: it is a landscape of experiences. We create clearly defined zones that cater to the different needs of children: dynamic, active areas that encourage movement and exploration, and quieter spaces for rest, socialisation, and creative play.

Separating zones by age and activity level ensures safety, harmony, and variety. The result is a balanced environment where every child can find a space tailored to their desires and needs, and where the whole community can coexist comfortably.

We create playgrounds that offer space for everything: play, rest, and imagination.

TOGETHER WITH NATURE

Playgrounds that grow with the world

The best playgrounds are not separate from nature: they are part of it. We work with existing vegetation for shade, introduce new planting, and shape the terrain to bring natural dynamics into the design. Levels, sheltered corners, and green spaces give children opportunities for exploration, connection, and a sense of wonder at the living world around them.

When nature becomes part of the game, something extraordinary happens: imagination is sparked, the atmosphere becomes richer, and the playground becomes a place that welcomes every generation, not just children, but families, neighbours, and communities for years to come.

We design playgrounds that grow together with nature.

CONCLUSION

These are not rules. They are beliefs.

Each playground we create is the result of listening carefully: to the place, the people, and the potential hidden within a site. We do not build playgrounds. We build places where stories begin.
