Built to last

Behind every product we make lies a careful selection of materials and rigorous production standards. We believe that a quality piece of play equipment begins long before a child touches its first element; it begins with the choice of raw material, the precision of workmanship, and the consistency applied at every stage of production.

That is what makes our playgrounds durable, safe, and worthy of trust.

Wood: the heart of our design

Wood is the foundation of our playgrounds. This is not a coincidence: it is a deliberate choice to work with a material that has lived, that carries warmth, texture and character no synthetic alternative can replicate. Children sense this intuitively: wood attracts, invites touch, and brings to the play space something that is deeply natural and grounding. Our primary timber species are robinia (black locust) and larch, two exceptionally resilient woods that have proven themselves in outdoor conditions over decades. Robinia is one of the hardest European timbers, naturally resistant to moisture, fungi and insects without the need for chemical treatment. Larch, on the other hand, offers outstanding dimensional stability and a noble aesthetic that develops an ever more beautiful patina with the passing of years. Every beam, every post and every wooden element we install has been selected to ensure structural integrity and aesthetic consistency. We process the wood in a way that highlights its natural beauty while maximising its durability across all weather conditions, from Mediterranean heat to continental winters.

Wood is not just a material, it is our design language.

Net systems: development in motion

Nets are an integral part of almost every piece of equipment we produce, and that is no accident. Net systems are among the most valuable elements of a modern playground because they offer children something rigid structures cannot: a three-dimensional, dynamic space that moves, sways and responds to every movement of the body. Climbing on nets engages the whole body: it develops strength, coordination, balance and spatial awareness. Children playing on nets are unknowingly training their fine and gross motor skills, building core muscle strength and learning to assess risk in a safe environment. That is why we regard nets not merely as an attractive visual element, but as a functional tool for development. We use high-quality net systems that comply with all relevant European safety standards. The nodes, weave pattern and tension of each net are carefully dimensioned to be safe for all age groups while remaining challenging enough to keep children genuinely engaged.

A net is not just an obstacle, it is a space in which a child learns to command their own body.

Stainless steel: precision that endures

Stainless steel is our material of choice wherever precision, strength and uncompromising durability are required. In our equipment, stainless steel appears at key points: slides are made from high-polished stainless steel sheet, ensuring a perfect gliding experience, long-term resistance to the elements and effortless maintenance. Decorative stainless steel elements, including panels, cladding and detailed motifs, give our themed playgrounds the distinctive visual identity that makes them recognisable and memorable. Stainless steel combines beautifully with timber and nets, introducing a contemporary, industrial note that children find fascinating and exciting. The fireman's pole, one of the most beloved elements of any children's playground, is also made from stainless steel in our equipment. Smooth, durable and safe, it gives children the thrill of a fast descent while offering parents and clients the assurance that this element will look just as good in ten years' time.

Stainless steel does not age, and neither do our playgrounds.

HPL panels: colour and form without compromise

HPL (High Pressure Laminate) panels are a high-quality composite material we use for all decorative and functional exterior surfaces. They offer outstanding resistance to UV radiation, moisture, mechanical damage and temperature variation, making them an ideal choice for play equipment that must withstand everything children and nature can throw at it. HPL panels are available in a virtually unlimited range of colours and textures, opening up enormous possibilities in themed design. We use them to create the defining visual elements of our playgrounds: ship hulls, castle walls, rocket fuselages, cottage facades — everything that gives a story its visual identity and provides children with an imaginative context for play. The surface of HPL panels is easy to clean and maintain, does not fade in sunlight and does not absorb moisture, which means our playgrounds look fresh and well-kept year after year, with no need for constant investment in restoration.

HPL panels give us freedom of shape and colour, and give children worlds to immerse themselves in.

Production standards

Every piece equally good, without exception.

Material quality is only half the story. The other half is the way we process and assemble those materials. At REDOX, we apply strict internal production standards that ensure every piece of equipment leaving our workshop is identically excellent, whether it is the first unit we have ever delivered or the hundredth. Every step of the production process is documented and controlled. Dimensions, tolerances, surface finishing, assembly and final inspection are all subject to defined procedures that leave no room for improvisation. Our goal is for a client ordering the same model for two different locations to receive an identical product in every detail. This consistency is not merely an aesthetic matter, it is the foundation of safety. A piece of equipment that is identical to the reference model that underwent certification is just as safe as the certified original. It is the only way we can stand fully behind the certification of every product we make.

Standards are not a constraint on creativity, they are the guarantee that our creativity will never put a child at risk.

CERTIFICATION

Safety is not just an option. It is a standard.

Every product that leaves our workshop carries one guarantee: it is fully certified and compliant with applicable European standards. Safety is never an afterthought. It is designed into every joint, every material, and every detail, from the first sketch to the last bolt.

Warranty & support

Our responsibility does not end at delivery

Every REDOX product is delivered with a warranty document, not merely a formal obligation, but an expression of our relationship with our clients and the communities that use our spaces. The warranty covers materials and workmanship, and behind it stands our team, ready to respond to any query, provide maintenance guidance or step in whenever needed. Our goal is not simply to sell a piece of equipment, it is to ensure that piece of equipment remains safe, functional and attractive for as long as possible. We therefore provide clients with clear maintenance instructions, recommended inspection intervals and ongoing support designed to ensure our products retain their value for years to come. Because durability is not only a question of materials. It is also a question of relationship, to the space, to the users, and to the work we do.

The warranty document carries our signature. And we stand behind it completely.

Conclusion

These are not rules. They are beliefs.

Each playground we create is the result of listening carefully: to the place, the people, and the potential hidden within a site. We do not build playgrounds. We build places where stories begin.
