REDOX Wins BIG SEE Award for Best Wood Design
REDOX's themed playground in Vodice won the BIG SEE Wood Design Award 2023 — a regional design honour covered by several Croatian media outlets.
In October 2023, REDOX won the BIG SEE Wood Design Award — a regional design honour bringing together creatives from 21 countries — in the wooden products category, for a themed children's playground in Vodice. The playground takes the form of a tower made of three irregularly shaped platforms with climbing elements, slides and ladders.
The award was covered by several Croatian media outlets: Novi list, ezadar.net.hr, tportal.hr, and the English-language edition of hrturizam.hr, which described the award as "the design world's equivalent of an Oscar."
REDOX's approach to themed playground design is built on minimalism and functionality, with an emphasis on child safety and the developmental benefits of play — an approach recognised by this award. The company, which employs 25 people, saw revenue grow by nearly 49 percent in the period leading up to the award, with exports to Serbia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Montenegro and Slovenia.
